Frequently Asked Questions.
How many weddings do you photograph a year?
I photograph no more than 30 weddings a year to ensure the highest level of service possible to my clients.
Do you have Public Liability and Public Indemnity insurance?
Yes I have both - so if anything does go wrong you are covered.
Are you a member of an association or trade group?
Yes I am a qualified member of the Master Photographers Association and the Wedding Photographers Association. Both associations have stringent levels of entry (including having to be a full time professional photographer) and I have won awards with both associations.
What if you haven't photographed at our Church or Venue before?
I always try and meet up with my clients at least once before the big day at the venue if possible. If this is not possible I will always arrange a visit to familiarise myself with your venue and meet your wedding coordinator before the wedding.
Do you bring spare camera equipment with you?
Yes I work with two camera bodies and several different style of lenses so if any equipment does fail, I have adequate backup.
How long do we have to wait to see our photographs?
If your wedding is on a Saturday, your proofs will be uploaded to your online gallery pages by Wednesday evening! During this time I will edit down the number of photographs, colour correct and enhance the photographs ready for your album selections. I will also upload the pictures to your gallery pages and send out your proofs on DVD.
How do family and friends see our photographs?
All my album packages include your own password protected gallery pages on this website. This will allow your family and friends to login and view your photographs. The gallery pages also have online purchasing available so prints can be purchased without having to place an order through yourselves.
Who decides on which pictures and the design of the wedding album?
You select the pictures you would like to see in your album, I will then make an initial set of proofs for you to view. From this first set of layouts you can then decide on any changes you would like to have made and another set of proofs will be produced with your changes. This process continues until you are entirey happy with your layouts. There are no extra costs for this bespoke service.
How far do you travel?
I photograph weddings throughout the country so distance is no object. Travel expenses are included within the Glasgow area, if your wedding is further afield travel and accommodation costs may be extra.
How do we book your services?
I require a booking fee of £295 to be paid to confirm your booking. Your balance (minus the booking fee) is then required four weeks before your wedding date. I do not take provisional bookings so your booking fee is essential to secure your date.
